Caistor
The township is laid out in a grid of Concessions 1 to 7 running northward, and Lots 1 to 25 running westward.

 

Clinton
The township is laid out in a grid of Concessions BF,1 to 10 running southward, and Lots 1 to 23 running westward.

 

Gainsboro
The township is laid out in a grid of Concessions 1 to 6 running northward, and Lots 1 to 30 running westward.

 

Grantham
The township is laid out in a grid of Concessions 1 to 10 running southward, and Lots 1 to 23 running westward.

 

Grimsby
The township is divided north- and south- by a prominent cliff (escarpment). The north part, in the “valley” is laid out in a grid of Concessions BF,1 to 7,Gore A running southward, and Lots 1 to 23 running westward. Concessions 1 to 7 at the east end of the township, have an additional triangular section of Blocks A to S. In the south part of the township, atop the escarpment, there are two Concessions north of the Welland River – Con. 8 and 9 of 42 Lots running westward. South of the river are two Ranges.

 

Louth
The township is laid out in a grid of Concessions BF,1 to 8 running southward, and Lots 1 to 23 running westward.

 

Niagara
Two different surveys exist for this township. One is based on a grid of Concessions and Lots, the other has Lots numbering 1 to 183 in an undulating pattern north-south, heading westward.
