The Fryvogel Tavern, constructed 1844 in the NeoClassical style, by the county’s first settler Sebastian Fryfogel, to replace an earlier log tavern placed by the Canada Company on the Huron Colonization Road. The five-acre site is being restored as a community centre, arboretum and Swiss-German Four Square Heritage Garden (Fryvogel was Swiss). Address: 1931 ON-7, Perth East, ON.
