The Butler “Mansion” 211 Prince Edward St., Brighton, was built by a relative late-comer, William Butler of New Hampshire, in 1849. After his land lots in the village were sold en masse, he welcomed the townspeople to a feast held at the home. These days, it seems rather less accessible, even to view!
